Utica....looking past the potholes

Like a bug looking up through myopic eyes, or a birds eye view from high atop Val Bialas, I try to look around or not see the streets so full of potholes,the boarded up homes and the vacant commercial buildings. images from Utica; "A Bug's Eye View"

I hope you enjoy looking at and reading some of my artwork. I enjoy painting in acrylics, oils, and drawing with tools as simple as a Bic pen or Craypas. One of the more exciting tools in recent years, has been the digital camera and the ability you have to create layered montages of mixed media or to use the image exactly as captured! My diverse portfolio reflects my love and passion for a variety of mediums, and my belief that artwork should reflect the period of life you have created that piece in and the media best suited to execute the piece.
